grumpy this was on the way to my house; the power lines were down and we just had to drive around them.
across the street, my neightbors' tree was down in the front yard.
also, at russel's house, the way off of his street was partially blocked by a downed tree. the opener was also taken of that tree.
hellicopters flew overhead like it was nothing. there were usually 2 in the sky at once; one going to the airport and one coming from it.
gas stations rarely survived the wind.
the line of cars on airline as we were leaving town. this line, i could imagine, got 4 times worse today. and this was taken after passing by maybe half of it.
so yeah. i said i'd show everyone those. by now they're not really special because news crews got in and showed you the same stuff, but oh well.

baton rouge is doing well. we DO have our hands full of pets/people/traffic/tension, but we're staying sane enough. i think some of us just need to get out for a weekend.. i dunno.
thanks, though, for the thought of complimenting. haha just because you lost the train of thought doesn't mean the meaning is lost. so thanks..
